ABOUT ME

Hello!

Welcome to my webpage. I'm currently holding the position of associate research fellow at RCHSS, Academia Sinica. My current theoretical interests address critical geopolitics, environmental governance and politics, new economic geography, and geospatial modeling with a particular focus on Asian foodways. I am also interested in technology-society interaction focusing on the political economy of building information cities and cultural-creative cities in Taiwan and Asia. As a member of the Taiwan Water and Land Research Network, I have participated in environmental movements to address groundwater overuse and subsidence hazards in western Taiwan. My works appear in academic journals such as The Journal of Peasant Studies, Area, Geography Compass, Environment and Planning E, and Geographical Review, among others. I obtained my Ph.D. from the Department of Geography at the University of Oregon.

I have a strong interest in working with collaborators to develop approaches that integrate critical human geography, environmental geography, and geospatial data to understand contemporary sustainability challenges in Asia. To learn more about my research and teaching, please feel free to explore my CV or reach out directly.
